Club Membership
La Belle Fencing Club is open to anyone interested in the sport. All of the funds collected pay for operating expenses and equipment. All coaches and staff are volunteers. No one is paid for their time.
If you have no experience in fencing, you must take our beginner's class before participating with the club. The class includes three months free membership allowing you to attend some practices and decide if fencing is for you.
Club members must also join the USFA. The fiscal year for both organizations is August 1 to July 31.
LBFC membership is $50 per year for an indivdual and $100 for a family (up to 3 fencers).

Club Rules
1. Be respectful of coaches, spectators and other fencers. Behave in a sportsmanlike manner.
2. We are guests in the building where we train. Keep it clean, bring your own water and be quiet in the hallways.
3. Club equipment stays in the club unless the coach allows you to leave with it. All gear must be returned to the armory in an organized manner.
4. Please keep your club and USFA dues current. This keeps us insured and operating!
5. No blade contact unless both fencers are masked and in full gear.
6. Keep the point below knee level when moving to and from activities.
7. Report and remove any damaged equipment.
8. The club is run by volunteers. Help out where you can. The coach likes to fence too.
9. Know the USFA rules.
10. Report any safety violations to a coach or senior member as soon as possible.
